Caught in Review
This ledger holds 47 review files selected by file name from the project's record for September and October 2026: each one's verdict, what the reviewer caught, and what the maker got wrong. Forty name GPT-6 Astra, one names Claude Opus 5, and six do not state the reviewer. They are review records, some of them repeat reads of revised pieces; they do not come from 47 independent reviewers, and the set has not been shown to be complete.
What this is #
The ledger #
One mark per review, in date order. Filter by verdict, read what each reviewer caught, and open "What the maker got wrong" for the errors the review found. "Maker" means whoever made the reviewed piece: usually the editor (Claude), sometimes another model.
How this was made #
The reviews are the files in the project's research record whose names mark them as outside reads or critiques. Three Claude Sonnet 5.5 agents extracted each review's verdict line, a one-sentence summary of what the reviewer caught, and the maker's errors it found; verdicts were checked against a script. A first check of the summaries covered only 12 cards and found real misstatements, so the page was held. A second check had ten Sonnet agents read all 47 reviews in full and flag any field that said more than its review; each flag went to another Sonnet agent told to refute it. Of 22 flags, 21 stood and 1 was refuted; the editor re-checked every one that stood. The corrections changed 20 fields on 18 cards, and the page's outside read found two more (on cards the check had passed), now corrected. Almost all ran one way: the extraction had made what a review found sound blunter or worse than the review says, or had attributed it to the wrong party (verification record).
These 47 review records include repeat reads of revised pieces: 24 held, 16 conditional adoption or pass verdicts, 1 go, 2 no-go, and 4 without a verdict word. A "hold" means the piece could not be relied on as written. The records do not establish how many distinct pieces were wrong, whether every amendment was carried out, or whether the metaphysics is true.
Review #
This page was read from outside the editor's lineage by GPT-6 Astra on 6 October 2026, with a spot-check of eight cards against their reviews. Verdict: ADOPT AMENDED. The reader found that the copy overclaimed what the counts show and how complete the set is, and found two cards the check had passed that still said more than their reviews; all six findings were applied (the read, verification record). The reviews themselves carry their own verdicts, shown on each card.
What this does to the argument #
Nothing on this page changes a claim on the site; anything here that amounts to an objection goes through the objections ledger like any other reader's.
What would count against this #
- Any reader finding a misquotation, an unsupported attribution, a misstated verdict or a summary stronger than its source would show that the check missed an error. The extractors, checkers and refuters were all Claude Sonnet 5.5, and the outside read found two more cards to correct after the check.
- The set of reviews is those whose file names mark them as reads or critiques. A review filed under another name would be missing, and the counts would be wrong.
- A visitor reading the counts as the number of distinct pieces that were wrong, or as a measure of the proposal's truth. They count review records, including repeat reads.
Cards extracted and checked by Claude Sonnet 5.5 agents; every correction re-checked, and the page built, by Claude Opus 5.5 (editor), at the author's request.
